From first picking up the guitar 30 years ago to now being a professional touring guitar tech, trusted by the likes of The Darkness, While She Sleeps, Architects & Funeral For A Friend, i'm now bringing a world touring level of care & expertise to a local level serving the musicians of Doncaster & surrounding areas.

The Stage-Ready Setup
Best for: Most guitars that just don’t feel "right," have minor buzzing, or feel stiff to play.
This is my standard professional service designed to make your guitar reliable and easy to play.
I’ll dial in the setup of the instrument to ensure it stays in tune and performs under pressure.

The Process: Neck relief (truss rod) adjustment, bridge height and radius setting, precision intonation, and nut slot filing.

The Finish: A full deep-clean of the body and fretboard, electronics contact cleaning, and a fresh set of strings (strings not included in price)

£50 + Strings (Floating Temolo or 12 string +£5)
The Full Tech Overhaul
(Setup + Fret Level)
Best for: Guitars with "dead spots," heavily worn frets, or players who demand the lowest possible action.
If your guitar has frets that are uneven or worn, a standard setup can only do so much. This service levels the playing field—literally. I’ll address the physical "high spots" on your neck to allow for a much cleaner, lower string height.

The Process: Includes everything in the Stage-Ready Setup, plus a full precision fret level, crowning (re-shaping the frets), and a high-buff mirror polish.

Basic Restring
Best for: A quick, reliable string change when you're short on time.

Includes: Removal of old strings, basic wipe-down of the body and headstock, installation of new strings, and tuning to your preferred pitch.

Why book it: No messy string ends or tuning slips. I use pro winding techniques to ensure the strings seat correctly for better stability.

Deluxe Restring
Best for: Maintaining your guitar’s health and playability between full setups.

Includes: Everything in the Basic service, plus a deep fingerboard clean to remove "playing grime" and conditioning with high-grade lemon oil (for Rosewood/Ebony boards).

The "Tour Tech" Touch: I’ll hand-polish your frets to a mirror shine for smoother bends and check all hardware (tuners, strap buttons, and jack sockets) to ensure nothing is rattling or loose before your next gig.

Pickup & Electronics Upgrade
Best for: Chasing a new tone, removing unwanted hum, or upgrading unreliable factory components.
Your pickups are the "heart" of your sound. A professional installation ensures they are wired correctly, phase-aligned, and height-balanced for a consistent output across all strings. I don’t just swap the parts; I ensure every solder joint is tour-ready and the internal wiring is tidy to prevent signal interference.

The Service: Removal of old pickups, precision soldering of new units, and testing of all switching positions.

The Tech Touch: I’ll set your pickup heights using professional measurements to find the "sweet spot" for sustain and clarity, and check your pots and switches for noise or wear.
